Adolfo L. Benitez MD graduated from Universidad del Valle, Colombia, and also did his Family Medicine training in Texas Tech University El Paso. There he met the city and decided to open his practice. Before moving to El Paso, Dr. Benitez was an American Academy of Dermatology researcher, where he published many papers and presented a poster.
Dr. Benitez has been practicing traditional medicine for many years, but found a passion for Hormonal Replacement Therapy, becoming a Functional/Integrative Medicine trainee. Since then Dr. Benitez has been integrating traditional medicine with nutrition and metabolic optimization to help his patients achieve good health and wellness better. When he is not working, Dr. Benitez spends time with his family, enjoys outdoor adventures, and enjoys road cycling.
